All the while we add new features here, we just launched a new site.
An interactive list of fun things to do!
Check it out:
We worked our butts off and finished up 1.99 and version 2.0 back to back.
This brings likely.to to fully working status.
We will continue to upgrade it and make it better, but most of the core features are now in place!
Thank you all for your continued support.
We look forward to more great things in the future.

A lot of the questions that we get from people ask how we are different than the other picture sharing and voting sites on the internet.
The following is a short list of what makes us different (read: better) then the other guys.
1. Our system assures you that nobody can send their picture to 1000 friends to rate. And they cannot rate their own images.
2. Our system is based 100% on sound statistical methods. (yes one of us is a math dork)
3. Our system keeps all photos within the same size and shape. This allows for the image to be judged more fairly.
4. Our system puts people up against one another, so that nobody can randomly click a bad rating over and over to skew results.
5. We added a lot more fun by allowing people to vote on what you are likely to be or do. So you get more than just a hot rating.
6. We are a small group of programmers who love making sites like this and we are committed to making this the premiere site for photo rating on the internet. (We will keep adding tons of new features)
7. We have a soothing rather than annoying color scheme ![]()
8. We listen to our users and will implement any good features which are requested.
Thanks for checking out the site. We hope you like it!

Going slow and fixing things before adding more features seems to have been the right idea.
We have received a lot of great feedback and fixed a lot of things.
Thanks all!

We have added a lot of new features behind the scenes. We are working hard on version 1.5 which adds messaging and other great features!
We have been getting quite a bit of feedback from users and the general opinion is that the site is fun.
Keep emailing us great ideas and we will get them into the new version 2.0 that is due soon.

Our users have been constantly requesting a better way to upload images to likely to.
We have finally unveiled a new feature that allows you to not only upload an image but to crop it yourself as you upload so you can control exactly how your photo will look on the site.
Go ahead and upload a new image and test it out. We hope you all enjoy the new feature. Keep the feature requests coming ![]()

We have spent a lot of time working on the back end systems to make things faster and more reliable.
Hopefully you will all notice the improvements.
Next we plan to work on some more backoffice systems and then finally we will start working on new features again.
Just wanted to be sure everything worked perfectly before we went on to new things.
Thanks!

We understand that some people are having issues with the results boxes.
We have never been happy with them.. and it is about time to make them perfect.
We are working on it and will have new ones up soon!
-Likely To Administration
We have changed a lot of behind the scenes things lately to clean up the experience for our users.
Please continue to let us know if you find bugs or problems.
We are also working to address many of the things people have said about how the site is biased towards women since they are the default that is seen in searching.
We will have lots more information soon.

Our Likely.to Image Gurus have compiled a short list of tried and tested ways to improve the outcome of your pictures.
RESEARCH: Examine attractive people as well as pictures in which you think you looked best. Look at your best angle. You’ll probably see that you were happy or having a good time. Capturing someone when they’re relaxed or most moving commonly makes for the best effects.
MODERN MONA LISA: Place your tongue behind your teeth and smile, which will relax your face.
NO MORE DEER IN HEADLIGHTS: To feel and look relaxed, try closing your eyes, then opening them slowly just before the photo is taken.
GET RID OF THAT DOUBLE CHIN: Center your eyes somewhat above the camera, move your face ahead a little, and point down your chin. Smiling too wide can induce the double chin effect too – so relax!
LADIES, LESS IS MORE: Go easy on the makeup. For younger women, a little mascara and lip gloss should do the trick; older women should, add a touch of concealer. If you must use some foundation, choose a shade that is slightly lighter than your skin tone but not too much that your face is 10 shades lighter than your neck and ears.
